Miles are under 70,000km, does anybody know about this if it falls under it or im on my own

The 2010 model year ceased production in July or August 2010. Model year 2011 began in September 2010. You have a MY2010 so you're on your own.

What is "it"? Is that the production date of your car? That is two months short of eleven years old. Warranty is ten years or 150,000 miles (IIRC)--whichever comes first. Not sure what's unclear here...the extended warranty for your vehicle has expired.

As I thought; thanks. And, as I said from the outset, it's out of warranty. You're on your own.

Mine was also just outside the 10 year warranty period, but luckily I found a guy.
He's based in the Fremont CA area who can "reprogram" the prior module for $100-300, depending on if he comes to you.
Just did it yday and so far so good :)

Whoa - that def is not a "fried" module, just a memory issue.

Was there an EPROM to re-program?

Warranty offered?

Can't these be repaired for like $100? I mean, free is always better, but it's not the end of the world....
