Here is something that I have been wondering for a while: Why do E46 coupes have front bumper reflectors in the US?
I understand that amber reflectors are mandatory in the US to comply with federal regulations.
However, most manufacturers nowadays usually include the reflectors in the front headlights assemblies. And BMW actually does so on the E46 sedan, and on almost any other model (with the exception of the Z3, I believe).
Does anyone know if there is a reason why BMW decided not to make the reflectors as part of the front turn signal assemblies on the coupe only?
