Hey guys, so I'm pretty sure I've got a bad front rack and pinion on my hands. I drive a 2006 bmw 330i, and I started leaking power steering fluid (ATF) out of my front right axle, right at the cv boot, basically. From what I've found out through my research, it's either the whole entire rakc and pinion, or a bad seal. Once I have helping hands, I'm going to diagnose specifically. But, just in case, has anybody ever removed and replaced the front rack and pinion? From what I've heard, it isn't too hard of a job, just trying to find out what I'm getting into. I know that I'll need to do alignment and all that jazz once I'm done (if I do end up having to replace the whole thing). As always, any help would be awesome. Thanks for your guys' time, I'll keep you posted on my situation.
