Front Window Trim DIY?

2042 7
I'm replacing my front window trim, I've read around looking for a write-up but couldn't find one specifically for the E60. I read one for the E39 and currently that's what I'm basing my process off of. If anyone has any experience or guides please help me out and again its the front trim, not the rear one.

Pull it off, clean the space and replace. DONE!
That's what I was thinking, but in a few threads people talked about damaging their windshields trying to take it out.

Not to be rude, but they must be stupid to mess it up.
Here's a pretty good DIY for an E90. Only thing I don't like about it is that he uses a metal screwdriver to pry some areas without wrapping it in a towel or something to protect the surrounding body/glass.

Little trouble, I can't get one edge to go in. Any solutions?
Is it too long or does it look like you need to tap it into place?
The "C" portion of it won't wrap around my windshield and won't go in place.
