Folks, I took a plunge and have ordered a new 335i. The 540 must go.

Asking 18,500 - negotiable

2002 540iT
Topaz Blue Metallic over Sand
87k miles
2nd owner
all records from day one
meticulously maintained

Options: LOADED - no option left unchecked.
Premium package
NAV 16:9
28% tint all the way around
6 disc changer
air suspension
BMW phone
all of the usual goodies

Always synthetic oil, changed every 6-8k miles
Tires have 8k miles on them, just rotated, still look new
M5 wheels (8" all around) 2 oem, 2 aftermarket

Recent work:
Zionsville full cooling upgrade, with electric fan
new thermostat, water pump, upper and lower hoses
Valve cover gaskets replaced
Power steering lines replaced
Spark plugs replaced
Diff bushing replaced
Right rear wheel bearing replaced
Powerflex control arm bushings
Powerflex thrust arm bushings
rear brake pads 15k miles ago
AT fluid changed
front brakes about 20k miles ago - about 50% left, last i checked
oil changedl last week (due at 95k miles) - Mobil 1 0w-40
Alternator replaced last year

Paint is in good shape, regular highway stone chips on the front, one place on the rear bumper where it was scratched on the corner, not highly visible unless looking for it. You have to look for it to notice.

Tint is 3M premium ceramic tint. Car runs strong. Returns about 17mpg in town with a heavy foot, and 25mpg on the highway at about 80mph.

I'm in the market and looking, and darnit, one shows up in town Sport Package. :cry: So the most important option for me was left unchecked. :bawling: Really nice looking car otherwise though!
