I get 19.1 miles per gallon, so if I drove 130 miles for 7 days I would go 910 miles which would be 47.64 U.S. gallons of 93 octane gas which costs about $2.60 a gallon so total cost would be $123.87 or about £95. You can calculate using your costs and liters.

Sounds like you are in the UK, I am too. I think more information about total miles and quantity of litres would help understand this a bit better. The M5 fuel tank holds 80L (about 17.5 imperial gallons) and at £1.20 per litre for super unleaded it should cost £96 per tank to fill.

At ~23 MPG (~19.1 US MPG) you should get around 400 miles from a tank.

£240 is roughly 200L @ £1.20/L, that's 44 gallons and at 23 MPG you should achieve 1000 miles.

All in all, if this doesn't add up, share more details.

Look on the bright side. That F10 M5 is a Prius compared to an E60 M5.

For some more good news... Compared to depreciation and maintenance costs, gas for that thing will be the least of your costs.

But, congratulations. Enjoy your car.
