1984 325e - There is a loud 'buzzing' noise coming just from the short hose which exits the fuel pump, turns and enters what's called the fuel line damper. The pump is running quietly (it's new).

The picture below isn't my car shows the same set-up as I have.

What's causing that?

Try removing the damper and replacing it with a plain double ended hose barb. BMW eliminated those fuel line dampers years ago.

Fuel pump holder "bushings"

Apparently the rubber 'bushings' that help isolate the main fuel pump from the body are dried out and not offering any buffering so the buzzing noise continues. Does anyone know where I can purchase these bushings or maybe even a fuel pump holder assembly that will have new ones with it?

You need part number 16121152361, rubber ring, available from ECS Tuning, Pelican Parts and many other BMW parts suppliers, plus any BMW dealer's parts department can order it for you.
It's about $11.
