I've seen a lot of threads about getting the lock ring off when doing a fuel pump.just wanted to make this so hopefully anyone doing a search will find this. Autozone rents a fuel pump replacement kit that has a tool in it for lock rings. It's meant for American cars but works great on our cars as well. Only cost was a $90 refundable deposit.
