My car will chug or engage poorly after decelerating down a long hill on the highway. It won't do it after I'm stopped or any other time, just after I coast. It shifts quickly and smoothly every other time. Any ideas?

it's probly engine braking. next time look at the instant gas milage meter on the tack, when u let off the gas it will head towards 8 mpg.

Any smoke out of the exhaust?

It seems more like it's choosing gear than an actual engine misfire. Sometimes it's only one chug, sometimes it's a series spuratically.
