G30 Remote Engine Start Coding

I have a Intelligent Key and there is a remote ventilation option on it. But the car doesn't have additional heater or remote parking function. So, remote ventilation neither heats up nor cools down the car since engine is not running.

Is there a way to remote start the car (by activating the remote ventilation or pressing the lock button on the remote 3 times in 2secs.)?

I've found and changed the following parameters:

BDC_BODY2:3020 DG_3020, 1C: 5: TCM_REMOTE_START aktiv
BDC_BODY2:30D0 DG_30D0, 0C: 6: RCM_ENABLE_REMOTE_ENGINESTART aktiv
HU_NBT2: 3000 HMI: 252: HVAC_REMOTE_ENGINE_START aktiv
HU_NBT2: 3001 EXBOX: 18: ASSIST_REMOTE_HVAC aktiv

After these an option has been added to the HVAC remote menu to start the engine automatically; when I select it a popup reminder shows to remind in some countries it may be illegal to idle car etc. I select ok and close the popup but it doesn't work either I click 3 times on the lock button nor activate the remote ventilation.

Are there any other parameters needs to be changed or do I need an extra hardware to activate remote engine start?

From everyones understanding Remote Engine Start is not available on and G30 at this time, only cars with iDrive 7 and this does not include the 2020+ G30 with iDrive 7 as they did not including the proper wiring harness for the G30 for remote engine start. That is directly from the dealer and no i cannot be coded to force the car to do it. Also cars with iDrive 7 Remote Engine Start is and option from the factory not a standard feature.

I have done extensive research on this and there are many threads regarding it.

I've concluded the same. Thanks. Maybe it can be coded to cars with remote parking feature, since you can start the car from the remote control

I did the same with my X5 G05 with iDrive7 so below comments are not true. There is a legal disclaimer to switch off - question how to do that ?

remore engine start is now avaialble in connectted store..purchased it and..... nothing :-(

i noticed 1CR was not present so i added via VO... everything now works (meaning the sequencing with the keyfob to start the car) lights flashes but the car doesn't start.. i went back to my connected drive account and shows my vin with the remote engine start option checked as purchased... but nada

does anyone know where the esys modules and fdl are so i can double check ?

As far as I know, it requires FSC Enabling Codes and Coding. Unless they were delivered OTA, I don't see how it can work.

exactly..i purchased it at the connect store, it shows that is linked to my vin..the option is now availalb e under my apps in my car but the damn car is not starting.... :-(

If these car's show as having Remote Start in ConnectedDrive Portal, and it does not work, they need to go to dealer. They may require Programming update.
