Hey guys

Since I bought my e92 I've had a strong odour of gas between the air filter box and oil filter with no gas leak.. It is driving me crazy and was wondering if anyone else has had this issue ... I also have a p2402 code for my Evap system , do these two problems go hand in hand ?ive tried searching for any disturbance to hoses but no luck. HPFP, fuel sensor, fuel line ?????

Yes EVAP system is responsible for venting excess fuel vapors in your fuel tank into the intake manifold to burn off properly. Most likely a bad check valve or the like

thanks, I was thinking it was the purge valve ... after doing some research the code im getting has been related to the dmtl pump but I have a definite vapor smell coming from the purge valve area. I will swap it out and hope it clears

ended up being loose fuel line nut ...oops
