Anyone ever have that happen? Is it common? It was only black for a second and then turned back on as if I just started the car.
By gauges do you mean the tach/speedo in front of you or the center iDrive screen? I had the well known left shift/vibration of the tach and speedo and it had to be solved by replacing the display. Somewhat thereafter I had my center screen go blank and they were able to reset it with programming but said if it happens again they will replace it. A couple of posts on it:https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1374733 and https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1377001 --BobAnyone ever have that happen? Is it common? Thanks, Bob, I do mean the whole gauge cluster shut off, everything in there turned off like someone unplugged it. I'm concerned because I'm running out of warranty! Still, I'll keep an eye on it, if it happens again, I'll bring it in. The CPO kicks in after this, but apparently there is a deductible, so I won't be totally left in the dark.
