Matte white was a little hard to clean to be honest, so I decided to glossify the whole car. Now it is much easier to clean. Costed $1000 to plasti dip the whole car, the glossifying process costed $1200, plus I decided to smoke the reflectors and the chrome line.

My car was done by http://dubzdip.com/

Nice, but between Dinan and this you've spent ton of dough. Next time, it might be cheaper to just spring for the B7.

I want the new M6 coupe, the trade in value for my car is a total bs. I'll keep my 750 until Feb. But you're right it would be cheaper to just get a B7 in the beginning

Why the coupe? Why not go for the M6 GC?

Looks good, it actually looks REALLY good, but (I have to throw a but in here brother), I had the exact same thought as Lesliearc, your shelling out cash like a mofo on this car... You prob could have leased a M6 with how much you put out there already!

Or you could have bought one of these bad boys....

Hey! As long as you're pleased with the result...all that matters. If you think you will be done with your 7 early next year, consider selling it yourself. The car looks beautiful and, as you say, trade-in value sucks; so consider selling it yourself. I just sold my '04 Lexus GX470 on Craig's List...deal was done within 24 hours of listing and I only had to back off $500 of my ask.

I'm serious about the M6 GC...fast as hell and very rare!

Because I don't have a family, and 99% of time drive alone. I don't need no back seats. Here in Canada insurance is pretty high on coupes, but I guess who cares.

I get that. I just assumed you were an executive sedan guy because of the 7.

Fun to drive...perhaps; better on gas? Pass me what you're smokin'. For a while I was averaging 2 fill-ups a week when I had my M6...all due to the fun to drive factor!

Never smoked, never drank. I'm getting 18-20L/100km on my car, when I test drive the new 2014 M6 I was getting 12-14L/100km

Mine was a V10. So, for me, going to a twin-turbo V8 was economical. I recall reading that the new M6 is less thirsty. I would still be willing to wager that you'll develop a new found relationship with filling stations...the M6 wants to be driven.

I guess he means the M6coupe compared to the M6GranCoupe. I don't know what the weight difference is but I don't think it's any huge deal. Probably get around the same gas mileage. Still haven't seen an M6GC in LA yet and I've seen just about everything around here. Just saw a frozen grey edition 650i the other day and that thing looked incredible.

To put a different spin a on all the extra cash you spent. You could have retrofitted an additional RWS. That alone would have made the car one of a kind with infinite resale value. Forget an M6 or B7, imagine a 7 with dual RWS. Chicks would be falling over you for a ride in that bad boy.

 We are on the same wave length. I've driven neither, but I've got to believe that the respective numbers would be very close.
