For the G35:
Peak Horsepower 260 @ 6,000 RPM = 228 lb-ft
Peak Torque 260 lb-ft @ 4,800 RPM = 238 hp
For the 330:
Peak Horsepower 225 @ 5,900 = 200 lb-ft
Peak Torque 214 lb-ft @ 3,500 = 143 hp
The 330's advantage is it has about the same torque throughout the upper rev range. The G35 has to shift more often to get the best torque.
The cars are very close.
I also don't see how they are related to your last statement/conclusion.
