Dealer would just replace it for ~$2500. I don't think any indy would dare to take it apart and try to seal it.

This is just a cosmetic issue. If it drips onto the exhaust, then maybe put a metal cover over it.

No, it won't. And it doesn't affect the performance either.

This oil is coming from the power steering reservoir which has a level sensor. It gives a warning if the level is low. However the leak is very slow, it is undetectable at the reservoir.

This active sway bar operates at 200 bar. Technically it is very difficult to perfectly seal it since the bars can rotate.

What happened to people buying these cars not being worthy of owning them if they won’t bend over for dealer service costs?

I can afford to buy a used BMW but not a well equipped mechanic's garage :dunno:
