What do you guys think, was DSC on? Watching the car's behaviour at the limit seemed a little jerky, but maybe that's just the recovery style of the huge grippy tires. Still though, I think it would have been oversteering more in some of those passing manouveres. :dunno:
LOL, with the GT3 on your a**, I would be "jerky" too. I think Sabine just wanted to put on a show though. For me the most exhilarating part was when Sabine dove right in the middle of a motorcycle and the car. I jumped on my seat when watching
Nice video. I have been looking for a good taxi video.
The heavy M5 looks bad during a recovery. There was no problem saving it though.
Everywhere the rear end kicked out she was off-line. This was due to traffic. As you can tell, laps open to the public are borderline insane. The motorcycle guys are the craziest ones. The average about 1 cycle death a week. Two years ago the official number was 54. I think 2 were car drivers. I saw one in a 330 convertible.
As far as the last motorcycle guy in the way. He was obviously inexperienced. The section where is started being in the way is very fast(easily over 100mph in a 320 rental car), pretty straight(easy to get out of the way), and blind for the first half before the right turn up the hill. The left turn at the top of the hill has a blind track-out point and can be dangerous if taken off-line(as performed by the M5). The rider seemed to be not paying attention, but I bet it was due to being nervous and not being an ass.
Just another day at the ring.
