hey webguy,

were you the one who mention about a ..... red curse...

now my current car is green....
ummmmm....... its mam.......

:p :p
What disgusts me most is the fact that speed limit in Hawaii is so low, our max is what, 55?? The speed limit being so low, and now they put those cams out there, good god, they know very well they can make a lot of money with this stupid program. Everyone is already driving like snails, grrrrrrr..... driving is no fun in hawaii...

Hey vexed, u think I should just pay it or go to court? Shall I wait until they totally abort the program?:lmao: :lmao: Cant even see me in the picture......

Oh and you guys, thanks, the 175,257,350,95 does make me feel better.... hehehhee...:D
Hey Tammie,

Honestly I used to be pretty popular among cops.... when it comes to getting busted speeding. I used to go to court everytime because like you said, if the cop doesnt show up, DISMISS!!.

But this traffic cam stuff is pretty new here, this is my first time getting one. I dont know how easy it is to get the case dismissed, is it worth it to take the day off.... and be harassed.....:dunno: :tsk:

Oh, I am not sure if we have the plastic tag thing here, do you have a pic of it??
oh, thats what you meant. Yes we do use those temp tag from dealer and they do put date on it =( As a matter of fact, I have thought about that, i mean, as soon as i get my new car, and as long as i have that temp tag on, hehehe, i am invincible.......

Oh, if your friend do get caught, tell him to act freaked out and claim he has amnesia....:bigpimp:

California is kinda stupid (or just doesn't care) about tag infringements. I drove around with a license plate that had been expired for at least 4 months (always scared to let a cop get behind me). In the end it never mattered because when I was on vacation someone stole the bastard. We didn't have comprehensive on it because it was a beater and we didn't bother filing a police report because 1) we were gonna get rid of it anyways (just wish we had gotten all the stereo equipment out first) and 2) if someone wanted the POS that bad.... well who were we to argue with that? :D (SF Bay area of California: only crimes are car theft/vandalism and cops going psychotic and whacking their ex-gf's on the 101) :yikes:

In the same area I saw far worse infractions -- people driving around with tags that had been expired for over a year or more!

The cops are probably smoking the same crack all the drivers there seem to be :p
Cops over here, on the other hand, seems to have nothing better to do but to harass drivers. Many times I see 3 or 4 cops car stopping ONE speeding car.... hmmmm...

HPD in action. At least they cut you some slack, more than those damn vans:mad:
I know now......

So vexed, u think I should go to court to fight this ticket??? Errrr, I am 11 miles over........(should have slammed on the brakes harder to make it 9)

It's a talivan ticket right? I would since the entire program is in jeopardy. You will have to go to court more than once though.

P.S. Did you notice the board thinks we changed time too, all the posts are an hour ahead.
Oh hehee, shall we let them know?

Yup its one of those tickets, grrrrrrr, have to take off from work to go court.....grrrrrr........

I'll let you tell them, I have to work hard to remain on Clem's good side:angel:

Fight it, the fines are too high and some insurance companies will charge you points for them.:tsk:
Exxactly.... I already got a quote from Allstate for my new car. I would really hate to hear a different quote from them because of this ticket...

Fight it, no question. Is your car on a boat?
Nope, it has arrived at the port tho, I called BMWNA this morning and asked if it will get on the 4/8 ship, the guy said possible...... :dunno:

Whats a pro bono case...
