I am sorry if I didn't make myself clear. I would like to purchase 6NR BMW apps. I don't have it yet hence, i can't see what apps are working or not.

Of course, I installed the bmw connected app on my android phone but it did not detect the car because the usb-to-phone interface is not enabled. 6NR will enable it. The app on itself doesn't do anything unless the usb connection is active. It only shows icons for Tweeter, Eco-pro and Wiki.

Thorsten, could you please share your experience with your android phone connected to the car? What apps are working? Did you get Spotify/Tunein to work?

Did anybody manage to get those apps working with an android phone?

Am I understanding you right you had a BMW-shop that would retrofit it for you if your combox was not retrofitted? If so, what BMW-shop is that? I would love to get it done properly through a BMW-shop if I can.

 

6NR and voice recognition

Hi

Is it possible to retrofit 6NR and basic voice recognition of my F11 Europe version prod date 2011-01 with 6NF and 6FL? If yesyes, is it easy to do that? I have some basic coding skills, I did some changes like DVD in motion etc. I have researched a lot to retrofit 6NR but not sure about all the steps.
And FSC code how dodo I get it if I need some?

you have navigation professional? Then you will need FSC code for 6NR and 620.

E91 ISTAP import 9C

Hi, I would like to import 9C FSC into my E91 with ISTAp but with no luck.

thats what I have done:
1. Retrofit Combox+Snap in, change FA date from 0609 to 0311, code CIC/media, FA back to 0609 - all works perfect, exept i can use ISTAP with combox connected because it ask me to replace TEL/ULF and ULF-SBX.
2. ordered 9C FSC and recieved zip with 4 files inside (der, fsc,xml,fsc)
3. disconnect combox from Most remove all VO about combox and leave just 6NR, code CIC.
4. use guide* for import with ISTAP, so I can see FSC in import tab in ista.
5. Program/code CIC.

but looks like it not import FSC into car. I still see juts old codes like 17,19,1B and 28 but no 9C.

What am I doing wrong?
My integraftion level is E89X-15-11-500. Im using prety new ICOM ABC clone with last FW. Istap is on Windows 8 prety powerfull laptop.
FSC is from Patryk.

Not sure why, but I never see this work with ISTA/P. Only way it works that I have seen is using FSTool, and newer version at that, as older version do not support 9C FSC Code,.

i have ICOM using CIC special utility is shows all FSC are rejected, i have ordered the full FSC repaid kit, just want to inject it

Sure, FSC 9C for BMW Apps CAN be ordered for every car.
For importing on E series car, you will need OBD DCAN USB interface and fstool.

No. If you have CHAMP2 or CIC-MID Head Unit, you cannot have BMW Apps.

Hi I am also interested in an FSC code for BMW apps. On the website fscmap com they said they can provide an FSC code for navigation, voice control and bmw apps for $100 dollars which can be imported using a bin file on a usb. Has anyone had any experience with them?

 

.bin is generally for retrofits, not factory fitted head unit as it replaces all OEM FSC Codes with non-OEM (fake) FSC codes, and it is only possible for NBT / NBT2 and not CIC.
