Funny, that wagon ate his lunch...then, I think of the $$ I've spent on my '02 540iT Sportwagon....and that's just mainly parts in 13 years form 20k mi. to 150K now...yes, you have to know the car AND be able to work on it...by thee book. I just dug into my files and see my ft shocks have 85K + on them and I last did the ft. arms in 2010... Buying more parts.
BUT, I like this car better than the 3 BMW's that proceeded it, including a nice '91 M5 I bought with 1,500 miles on it.
