I am new to the forum and glad to join.
The battery (61 21 8 385 398) on my 2008 328c is dead. Replacement battery is said to be from Exide (61 27 7 586 962). If I were to replace the old with a new Exide battery, is there a need for re-promming or registering? Can either be done by me, or do I have to go to the dealer?
