Hi all, recently enter the bimmerfest, bought a guys lock down project his wife made him sell after they moved.

Delivered on the back of a truck was a 1998 1.9 BMW Z3 4cyl in Boston Green with a fare few things loaded inside of it that needed fitting.

Got the car, and 2 days later a new apartment.
So in 20 days, moved, settled and restored a project Z3.

Main things were sill cover panels, front quarter panels, side grills, splash guards, engine latch, windows and plastics.
Worked through it all, just jack points to screw in tomorrow before the MOT.

I'll attach some pics of this now rather beautiful Orinoco edition Z3.

Look forward to meeting the community peeps.

FYI. Disclosure, my daily is a 2006 Mazda 6 TS, remapped and modified. Got a bargain for 500 at 68k, took care of what needed sorting, passed 2 MOTS both no advisories.

Big love,

Mike

It's been a work of pleasure. Passed MOT start of month, no advisories. Great stuff.
Few things I'm going through with it, also bought some extras like the soft top cover and wind deflector, some new sill covers (mine were missing chrome roadster trim).
Get it all good for the summer :)
