Have been a visitor to this site for a few years now but just registered. Tons of great info here and look forward to contributing (somehow).

I have owned a 2011 535i Xdrive M-Sport for about 2.5 years now. Love this car.

Quick question: How do I search threads for previous topics? I don't want to ask questions that have already been answered here.

Welcome!

To search just look along the top of the general area you are interested in and click "Search". It will drop down a search bar. If you're already in a thread the wording changes to "search this thread".

Also...there is a section for F10 models http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=141 so that you can look at issues specific to your car.
