My first car was a BMW Alpina B3.3 E46, I swiftly crashed the car and it was a written off. This was only after 4 months of ownership. My insurance was ridiculous for years after and the car I used for the past 10 years was a MINI cooper.

The mini was on its way out and I needed a new car, my choice: 2013 Z4 28i manual mSport, pre facelift with a nice high spec. Man, what a difference, I am still getting used to it and its pretty scary to drive. I have attached a pic.

So as someone who has not been in a BMW for 10 years, has anyone got any driving tips?

Another question is, my iDrive has the comfort option checked under the door locks menu, but I cant seem to get in and out of the car without pressing the button on the key?

I absolutely LOVE the car, I cant stop looking at it, really enjoying, fingers crossed I wont end up in another Alpina scenario!

Beautiful car. My only driving tip is to bring it to Houston where you can put the top down for 8-9 months. Enjoy.
