Hello to all Bimmerfests,
Recently purchased 2002 BMW 318Ti. European auto's can be a reasonable purchase here as the herd prefers Japanese cars. I've had many Mercedes in my time and found that yes, if the sh%t its the fan it can be expensive. On the other hand, if taken moderately good care of, the E autos may give good service for upwards of 1/2 million miles. My reasonably priced 318Ti with 128,000 runs well. I have a few issues with it. The rear window wiper motor doesn't run. Haven't figured out yet whether it's a switch or the motor. Any thoughts?

Welcome to Bimmerfest!

I moved your question to the E46 forum where you should get some help. We didn't get the E46 318ti in the States, but the forum has members from all across the globe.
