Hi guy, what's this hose please? Is it for CCV system?
Right it seem its retrofitted with this metal and vacuum cancelledThere should be an "F" connector there, connecting to fuel pressure regulator on the other end.
There is question (suspicion) in my mind, it appears to be a RETROFIT (Rigged). On my 2001 525i e39 I have an F connector located on top of my boot almost opposite yours. Is your vehicle an E38?![]()

I found that some of e39 is only one hose on this part -_- :bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling:There should be an "F" connector there, connecting to fuel pressure regulator on the other end.
Thanks man!!The other end of this hose should go into the Sucking Jet Pump. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=DT53-USA-05-2003-E39-BMW-530i&diagId=11_2885
Thanks man! And I found this, pretty helpfull! http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=578766on earlier models, the sucking jet pump is direct to the air inlet tubing, the regulator vac line comes off of the CCV..on later models. the CCV port is capped, and the f connector is used.
