So I think I figured out whats causing some oil to leak from my car, this tube thats leading to the front of my engine is pretty loose

Is this normal? How can I fix this or secure it?
I tried searching on the forums and the bentley handbook but can find anything

Thanks guys, sorry for starting a thread :p

Thank you! Now I can search for it :]

But the rubber seems fine, its just the whole thing is loose and not really secured to that hole, Idk if its supposed to be like that, but im pretty sure its leaking oil cause of it

Well from the pics I'd say there's oil built up there, it's just possible that over time the rubber has stretched :dunno:

it's part of the crankcase ventilation system, and the hoses are routed under the intake. they also tend to get soft, suck in, and then split. i'd plan on replacing them. i don't recall the actual diamter, but you want to get a fuel/oil grade hose, not just 'regular' vacuum line. it'll last longer. there should be 2 different sizes attatched to the plastic insert. (not sure of the technical name right now, but maybe some sort of seperator??)
