Hey guys,
I'm on this forum quite a lot, I just recently made an account tho
Recently bought a 2000 328i with the M52TUB28, I haven't been able to find if the engine block is aluminum or iron. The car overheated yesterday because of a list of unlucky events and I'm planning on building it at some point, however it's my daily driver rn and I dont have the energy nor the space to be doing an engine swap right now.
Any help would be appreciated
Edit: Forgot to mention, it's a US spec car, from what I've seen the e36 328's had an iron block in the US but I've had no luck finding info on the material of my block.

Thanks dude I completely forgot about magnetism apparently:p
Magnet would stick in some places but not others, I followed my lower radiator hose from where it connects to the thermostat and went a little further down from there and it stuck, hoping its iron
