Hi all
525d e61 2006my auto
bought this 525d a couple of months ago .. got scammed by the vendor as now know its a accident repair.
a few nagging problems ..
1/ air con not working . system pressurizes when on/off button pressed on dashboard but no cold air
2/ cruise control switch on steering does nothing at all .
3/ loose vacuum pipe hanging from a unit next to glow plug unit (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=849232)
i have these errors .. i have searched and hunted for days but cannot find anything conclusive to tell me what to look at .

Fault: Message failure

Fault: unknown failure

Fault: unknown failure

Instrument cluster: (this error comes and goes)

Heating / AC:
Air conditioning / Klimaanlage
Fault: Central control timeout
Code: 9C48
Park distance control: (2 faulty sensors i think. on order)
Park Distance Control / PDC
Fault: Converter errors HML
Code: 9E2D
Fault: VML converter error
Code: 9E31
CD-Changer / Wechsler (cd changer stuck. not worried about this)
Fault: Error lift changeover mechanism
Code: 9D2A
