My engine makes a squeel sound when its first started in a morning but it quickly goes away after about a minute of so. Like the belts slipping or something anyway it only does it when its really warm out in the morning.

Anyone else had it happen to them?

Cars got 134,000 on it now.

Warm temperature (even if dry) on a worn belt could contribute to slippage, no? When was the last time your belt was changed?

Another important question is to ask if any recent maintenance was done in the area where fluids could have spilled/dripped onto the belt or pulleys.

I`ll change the belt see if it is that. Just when the engine is warm it doesn't slip.

If the belt is changed and the problem continues, it will likely get expensive. Could be bearings in the water pump giving out (but not detrimental to engine temp yet). All the best. Keep us posted.
