I thought mine weren't, but they are the same as the ones you have.

As of now, the Delrin Bushings are no longer part of the package.

As far as DIY goes, the hardest part is getting the clip from hell off. It's not that much harder than the swaybar installs if you don't install the delrin bushing...But the delrin makes a BIG difference.

Another thing, you'll need to get both the front and the back of the car up in the air...There's not much room to work underneath the car and you can't see the clip from hell and you can't see the cup that holds the shifter rod...It's all done by feel.

By the way, I was lurking on .org today and saw that thread about the short shifters...Roundel had an article comparing different short shif kits, ACS, Auto Solution, Dinan, and UUC...The guy who reviewed it picked the UUC over the rest for some very good reasons.

I'd go dig that article up for ammo. I've heard some pretty good things about Rogue Engineering stuff to but unfortunately I do not get RE discounts.

That's because when I quoted the price for you, the Delrin Bushing was part of the package. When you eventually placed the order, I confirmed with Rob that the Delrin Bushing was NO LONGER included with the SSK, and I told him you were in on the original group buy...I figure it's cheap and I'd rather honor the price I quoted you and ate the cost. No big deal...That's why it shows up on your invoice.

it was a good article. rogue engineering? isnt that the people who used to work at UUC? that's waht i read awhile back. regardless uuc will be the way i go when i do go that way.
