I've heard about using a polymer with a carnauba 'topper' but it makes me wonder if the carnauba would last even shorter sitting on top of the slick polymer.

Not like I could see the difference on my white car anyhow. :p

That's what I have heard . . .

is that carnuba does not adhere well to the polymer. $80 for the carnuba sounds like an inflated price to make the buyer think they are getting a deal? :dunno:

carn topper over a polymer is fine. in fact it leaves a really nice finish. as for 80 for souveran, apparently souv is the concours wax. not long lasting (joke is that it only lasts as long as it takes to apply), but gives ultra deep look.

I was also looking at the other price breakdowns . . .

$30 for 3 micro-fiber towels :dunno:

that's a little high...

there have been quite a few MF towel reviews done here

i think both reviews found cheaper quality MFs... i need to pick some up too, but seeing as how i cant even really detail my car these days.... )=

Home Depot's towels $3.00

A little smaller than Meguaires but work great, for half the cost. Also found them for a similar price ($3.00) at Lowes and Pep Boys.
