Before I finish completing the HID modifications on the fog lights which are done already and the HID angel eyes I'd like to make sure there isn't going to be any issues with the warranty.
What are your thoughts on doing HID conversions and warranty issues?
Thanks
Joe

Joe, It depends on the dealer it is after all an aftermarket item which is not recommend by BMW. If you have some type of electrical issue, they might just blame the HID kit. Me personally I will remove my HID bulb's and install OEM when going to dealer, since my ballast are hidden way under my bumper area, and takes 5 min's to swap them in.

I went with "motorcepts" brand which is a vendor on 5series.net, they dont produce an error code and have everything you need in a plug & play kit. I put all 4 (2 for headlights, 2 for fogs) of my ballast in a cavity in my front bumper which you cant see unless you remove the bumper it self. Installation took a little longer 2 hours, but simple to just disconnect the hid bulbs and put OEM right before going dealer.
