I own an E60 BMW. A few days ago I noticed a very annoying clicking noise inside the cabin. At first I couldn't identify where it was coming from. It seemed like it's in the dash, steering column, sun roof, ceiling, etc. After a few days I realized that the hood is loose.
When I press on the top of the hood near the windshield it has give and bounces up and down a fraction of an inch creating the annoying clicking noise. The hood is not tight near the windshield. It is fine on the lower part by the grill. The noise is audible inside the cabin and I need to get rid of it.
Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas on how to do that? Is there an adjustment anywhere on the hood the I can use to adjust the hood so it gets tight again?
Thanks in advance for any help!
