Ok been battling this issue for a while now
When the car is operating temp and I shut it off for 5 minutes it'll start up no problem.
However if the car sat for maybe 15-20 mins it will refuse to start or will have a hard time stating up. Most cases extra long crank, sometimes more than one extra long cranks or long crank than it catches misses goes to about 300 rpms stall or it will gain composure and idle fine. sometimes it'll stall twice.
Leave the car for about 2-3 hours or more it starts up first try.
Long story short:
I changed
the Coolant temp sensor = No change
Cam sensor= thought it worked but today it took 2 cranks on the first start of the day
Crank sensor= first thing I changed (Cant remember if this was the reason why I changed it)
Once the car is started it runs and idles perfectly
This has been going on before AND after chipping the DME
Oh and once it starts it does have a weird smell (gas maybe?)
This may have to do with when I let off the throttle the car stinks but as long as my foot is on the gas there's no smell
Young Ken, suggested a clogged return line and the fuel is just running in to the chambers :dunno:
And before the 1st start of they day my car started like it was missing for a second or 2 then continues fast idling normally

2.5hours- or more = Start
