Sorry for asking such a basic question. To post a picture in the body of my message, do I have to upload and use a web site or can I just attach the file to the message. I'm not talking about my sig picture shown here. Thanks in advance.

You need a host website to post pictures to your message. You cannot just attach a .jpg file to your message. Your signature picture had a host website also. Posting a picture into your message is no different than posting a picture in your signature. You need a website host.

not true, actually. you CAN just attach a pic straight from your hard drive. Just click the browse button next to the attach file prompt. You can only "attach" one pic per post this way.

The maximum image size is 800x600. None of my pics from my hard drive is that small.

time for a photo editor!
