The 2011 528i in the U.S. had an N52 naturally aspirated inline 6.
The 2012 528i introduced a new N20 turbocharged 4 cylinder which has much better low end torque which would explain the difference between the two performances.

I understand, but the comparison is between an N20 and an N55. There is quite a power difference between those two, yet the numbers in the video show that the N55 is weaker. Interesting video.

edit: I may be mistaken. Is this comparison between N20 and N52?

The video shows the 6 as having 240hp. That's the N52 I6.

Yes, if you look at the dyno section the graphics show that it's a 2012 528i (N20) vs. 2011 528i (N52)
