How long did it take you to get used to iDrive?

It took no time at all. Never even looked at the manual: all self explanatory.
:thumbup:
Just never get the point of the car mags complaining about it. Best feature is bluetooth with phonebook on the display.

It's easy. It's kind of like an iPOD type interface, i.e. spin the wheel to move and then hit the button to enter. I've had no issues what so ever despite the less than perfect reputation it has.

Not long at all for me... but I am a computer expert and love gadgets in general. I absolutely love iDrive and am so glad I ordered it. I never played with it before taking delivery, btw.

Just test drove a new '08 Cadillac CTS with one of my VP's who is going to get one:
> Wonderful entertainment/NAV interface with touchscreen "everything"
> Superb car--great interior and drives like a BMW
> Good looking car

BMW, watch out, the Americans are "finally" coming. Believe me, I am a BMW enthusiast and not easy to impress, but this one is well executed.
