This started in another post, but I thought I'd revive it.

Since the BMW system is adaptive, I thought it would interesting to see the driving "habits" of the Fest folks.

We all know about Nick's brake habits.

First Service (15k) at 13,526. Service indicator said something like -250 when I brought it in.

Second Service (Inspection 1) at 27,141. I had about 150 miles to go.

Right now with a hair under 30,000, I have about 12,300 to go for my next oil service (45k).

I think my first oil service was in the low 13K range...

Inspection 1 was at 23.5K and Oil Service II should be a few hunderd miles before 36K :thumb:

I had changed it myself at around 5500.

My early 01 330Ci currently has 8400 miles. SI says 4025 until service.

Add my vote to the under 12K. It looks like TD has me beat by a few miles, though. :thumb:

I drive back and forth mostly in residential or quasi-residential areas, so my speeds are ALWAYS going up and down.

Mine was around 12,000 (mls) too

I have 12000 miles on the clock and it still reads 2900 to go, but I did change the oil at 4000 and 8000 miles.

Oh yes, I should say that I extracted a free oil change out of my dealer after the second fan died. (The cooked oil excuse.)

Had 1st oil change at 20,000km (12,400mi), then second inspection at just over 41,000km (25,420mi).

I was told when I bought the car that normally most people run to 24,000km.

Guess lots of lead feet here.

The amount of highway miles you do has a lot to do with it.

I drive the car pretty hard, but still took it in relatively late.

01 330ci in Florida @12,000 miles

I changed my oil (myself) around 6k miles. Now It read 12055 on the odometer with 450 remaining for the First Maintenance.

I drive mostly city (home to work is @ 1.2 miles). :bigpimp: I dive it hard whenever I can and I have taken the car for a couple long trips now.

The main input is amount of fuel consumed so he's definately backwards.

I've been doing about 95% freeway driving so it ALMOST ALWAYS takes about 15,500 miles before the interval winds down to ZERO. However I always take it in at around 14,500 and they've always serviced the car without a peep.
