Bought my 535m brand new in may of 2011. Hard to believe I've already drivin all these miles. Haven't had any issues with it what so ever. Had to replace both outer boots for tears and that was the extent of service that needed to be done as of now. Couldn't be happier with the car

Almost 23k miles on a 2013 535i and no power train problem whatsoever.

11,600 miles as of last night. The only problem so far was a RTFM failure (adaptive headlights don't turn to the left when the car is stopped).

2013 550 xdrive 29,000 miles no powertrain issues. At 14,000 miles on this oil change and have only had to add 3/4 quart and its at the full line. Drive it hard in and out of nyc. Only issues have been run flats being somewhat fragile (and me hitting potholes at 80mph).
