How many mpg do you get on your car?

I do mostly city driving and my on board comp reading hovers right around 17. I just find it a little odd though that its so low...

I'm not a speed freak, though occasionally, I do gun it a bit here and there to pass all the A4s

I've averaged 20.8 MPG for the 4,100 miles on the car. Average speed is 27.8.
