Cars with manuals are much harder to find, not sure of the exact numbers but I am guessing less than 10% of the E24s sold in the US were manuals. I searched for almost a year to find one in good shape. You will probably pay quite a bit more for a manual as compared to an automatic in similar condition/mileage. I may put my car up for sale but not until after the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix in July. The E24 is the featured marque this year and I am committed to showing my car. I can send you pics if you are interested. The only thing it needs is repair of the left bolster on the driver's seat. Like most older BMWs with Recaro style sport seats, the left bolster of the driver's seat is sagging. I may have it done before July.I've been looking at various 633's and 635's for sale. Finding many more automatic transmission cars. How much more will I pay for a manual tranny car vs. auto? And how much would I pay to convert an auto to manual? I'm not doing the work.
