How to adjust High Beam & DRL on F25 BMW X3

Haven't had an F25 for too long. The headlights weren't adjusted properly. One is pointing higher than the other. That was easy to fix by turning the knob/screw thing.

The daytime running lights and high beams aren't aligned though. One side points higher than the other. I believe one of the headlight assemblies might have been replaced due to damage.

How do I go about adjusting them to make sure they're even?

Adjusting Headlights. Comply with test requirements.

The light pattern is carefully designed and implemented.. Intended to be just as you found yours. FIRST DO NO HARM.

Thanks Doug. I don't see where it says the heights should be different between driver and passenger side.

One day I was following behind a relative and afterwards they told me that one of my headlights seemed brighter than the other. It was during the day so I think they were referring to the DLR.

Looking at the headlights the brightness seems the same but when looking at the level of the lights there is a big difference between the two.

When I'm driving in front of another X3. I don't see the discrepancy between the two intensities as much as I saw with mine.

I'm pretty sure you can't align the DRL separately.

Two other possibilities. One, the bulb isn't inserted properly, so it's out of alignment with the reflector. Two, one of the bulbs is dimmer, which happens with age. Try swapping the bulbs, or just buy two new ones.
