Uh, probably a pretty dumb question, but how do you get access to the wiper blades to change them? I can't pull them out when they are in the resting position. Do I need to try to stop them mid-wipe by turning the car off? :dunno:

Please follow the instructions and don't chip your hood paint like some others

Thanks! Appreciate the assistance. I didn't know how to enter standby status, and found that apparently all you have to do is open the car door...

Easy to accomplish BUT I recommend covering the windshield with a thick towel to protect the glass should the wiper arm slip out of your hands and smack the W/S !!

The button must be pushed hard which is difficult to push with your finger while pulling hard.
Thankfully...BMW still offers a screwdriver in the trunk toolkit. :D
