Not sure if it is a repost.

For those who are interested in removing the front 2 grills.

Its pretty easy. No tools needed at all.
Did it today to get them repainted.

1.Put your fingers in the left one and pull the bottom section out and upwards.
It should pop out with a bit of force.

2. Lift it upwards and pop the top section out.

3. With one out, put your hand in the opening, reach to the back of the right one and press the botton clips on the bottom and do the same.

Hope this helps.

Here's how I did it:
1. Drive to dealer.
2. Ask dealer to pop out grilles.
3. Thank dealer and drive away.

After painting, they push back in easily.

By the way, I painted them myself. No sanding. Bulldog adhesion promoter. SEM Trim Black paint.

Well this way you can skip all 3 steps and wont have to drive to the dealer. I know how much you guys have been complaining about the cost of fuel in the US :D

Btw, I didnt mine myself originally too but got sick of the home made look.
