For anyone else looking for a non existent thread on this topic. (anywhere)
You must disconnect everything on the rack. To get it out, you'll need to disconnect the engine mounts, fan shroud, heat shield on the passenger side and tie rod ends. Then (carefully) raise the motor nearly 5 inches so you maneuver it out from between the motor and a-frame by first angling it a bit, then rotating it as you pull it though.
I have to tell you, it's not for the faint of heart...
