Congrats!! Hope the wait isn't too painful.
Yeeehaaaaaa!!

Congrats! 'sgonna be awesome!

If that's true then it looks like you'll have it around Christmas & New Years.

Try to defer picking up & paying for it until after 1 Jan. The excise tax gets cut to 2% on 1 January. It may not be much ($150 or so), but it's something to consider even if it's academic to some.

Anyway, congrats Haus!

Disregard that crack I made about you in atyclb's thread over in the Showroom. I was just joking around. (Besides, Rip put me up to it!)

Now Doug, don't forget....

That Washington State "Square Dance" license plate is just waiting for you and your new car.... It just 'fits' .
:p
(I couldn't resist)

Oh yeah- Since you wouldn't want to cross contaminate all your really really old Griots cleaning products that you've been using on the 'lesser' BMW onto your brighter and cleaner new M3.... I can help you dispose of many of your to be surplus goodies... I'm sure you'd want to start fresh! :thumb:

(I couldn't resist that either hehe)

Thanks All, I'm pretty excited.

To answer a few questions:

Bimmerfest set me on the color. I saw at least one of each there and the Topaz really stood out for me. I love the Steel Grey but my dealer said it is the most ordered from them currently.

Seats are Full Leather.

Next, My dealer sells the Ms at MSRP. The only one they ever marked up was the demo they sold off early for $2000 over MSRP.

Third pedal... well, I learned to drive on a stick. All but one car of mine haas been stick (my 525i) When I read about the SMG I just knew I had to have it, I think it will be the future. I have not heard anything bad about it yet from anyone who's driven one.

Square Dance plate?...Ummm... ya... right.. I'll get it ordered right away! :lmao: And I'm sure my 325 won't mind sharing it's detailing stuff with the //M. :D

I think a new M for the new year is a great way to start off 2003!
Thanks Indy, I'll think about sliding it to Jan.

Now the wait begins....

You're keeping the Bright Red 325Ci, right?

Damn, you have the same color combo I do. ;)
CONGRATS Haus!

(But if you were a real soldier, you'd definitely be picking up the manual tranny. Now git' down and give me 20! Pump Georgia, troop!).

If I was a real soldier I'd be buying an OD Hummer. :D

HACK: No, sadly I'll have to sell the 325. I know my note made it sound opposite. Just can't afford both myself. I am trying to talk my girlfriend into buying it since she will be looking for a car soon. That way I can keep an eye on it and still take care of it.
If not hopefully someone in the club will get it.

Even though I'm getting a "better" car it's going to be hard to let the 325 go. I always planned to get an M, so I've always known the 325 was a transition car.
