hi
i have a 2005 BMW 325I i took my car to the shop because it was smoking alot (thick white smoke) i originaly tought it was the head gasket. after he ran three test he said it was the intake manifold gasket. that doesnt makes much sence to me but who knows he may be right. can you please tell me what do you think about that?

Check the oil....does it look normal, or like a milkshake ? Head gasket failure usually results in oil & coolant mixing together. Milky-looking oil, overheating, smelling coolant at the exhaust pipes are all typical symptoms.

If those are not present, your CVV has probably failed (use the SEARCH function for more info).
