I-Level update before code 6WA question

Hi Guys,

I have a F10 2011 and will upgrade it with 6WA. The cluster is already virginized and ready to be installed.

I am learning about coding, so I have two questions:

- My car has a very old I-Level (2012), is it worth to update the I-Level before coding? No errors or anything, but if I need to do that later will need to FA again. Have access to a ICOM and ISTA+ with SDP data for the most recent I-Level (F10-23-07-530 if I am not wrong).

- Also, is it ok to flash Kombi using E-SYS with this SDP or I should get something older?

You can update the car. You may not notice any differences but there would be fixes for varying things in the newer softwares.
You can flash the kombi if you’d like but you will need to ensure that you modify your FA accordingly. You could also just code it with the modified FA and all should be fine.

Thanks for your reply, I retrofitted the cluster using the current software, since I will also retrofit the comfort seats, I will change them before updating the software for everything, at least I won't have to code and flash the respective ECUs after that.
