i need some input on the new SMG
hey guys i need some opinions, i am looking to get new 645Ci convertible, and i just dont know if I should get the SMG option or not... I dont know how smooth it is, how responsive etc...

Some people (see posts by beewang on his 545i, for example) love it. Others not so much. You really just need to drive it and decide yourself.

My informal survey, just from reading the message boards, is that the less you drive in metropolitan area, rush hour, stop-and-go types of traffic, the more you are likely to like SMG.
