I just couldn't believe what i was reading . These three young boys took it upon themselves to seek retribution for the wrongs that have been committed against their people. Sorry to beat a dead horse and all but this really got to me for some reason. When i was 13 i didn't think about things the way these kids do - they have all lost the joys of childhood (something i wish i could go back to relive right now). Two 14 year-olds and a 13 year-old were killed as they went to committ a suicide mission. What drove them to it? This is what their friends had to say (it really is sad when children feel this way - don't give me the "palestinian propaganda" BS, their words come from the horrors of daily living not from a bunch of adults):
At the three boys' school, their classmates seem to believe they acted on their own. They showed ABCNEWS they were prepared to follow in their footsteps.
We all know how to make explosives, one child said. A boy drew a diagram of how to make a pipe bomb.
"There are programs on the computer, and in books," said Mohammad Esaafeen. "They [Israelis]are killing us so we have to find a way to hurt them."
"We learned how to do this. We need these tools. They are killing us, you want us to just say OK? Necessity is the mother of invention," said Mohammad Jalil Al'bana.
"Kids all over the world get presents on their holidays; we get missiles, assassinations, martyrs. This is our daily life. What can we do as a Palestinian kids?" said Esaafeen.
The two reminisced about their slain schoolmates. "They were driven by their hearts," Jalil Al'bana said. "Imagine our feelings when we see every day on TV how Israel kills our people."
"During the days of the attack on Jenin, I remember them coming to school very angry, but I did not expect them to do what they did. I am sure that they did it out of anger, despair and anger over what [Israeli Prime Minister Ariel] Sharon has done," Esaafeen said.
